UPDATE: I've come to the hypothesis that after playing gmod then playing CSGO the csgo maps will crash. I've searched around for ages and I can't seem to get an answer so I came here to these forums. This went on for a while but lately GMod-which crashes out after 15 secs on a server at which then I can't see the game but I can hear the audio-, CS:GO just crashes into a black screen RIGHT at the moment I join anything and I've tried lowering shadow quality, re-installing, re-installing video drivers (which opened up a whole new can of worms,) and I tried just plain waiting. After reinstalling Steam and CS:GO a few times it started working again.

I fixed this later by lowering shadow quality but it later started happening again. So about a month after I built my PC-about 3 months ago-, I've had this problem when whenever I join ANY CS:GO map, even in spectator mode, CS:GO crashes like a broken record.
